This tasty cider punch can be served hot or cold.
- 4 cups apple cider
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 1 dash Kosher salt
- 1 orange halved, plus orange slices for garnish
- 3/4 cup bourbon
- 3 whole cloves
- Combine cider, cinnamon, cloves and salt in a large saucepan. Squeeze the juice from the halved orange into the pan and add the peels. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and let steep for 10-15 minutes.
- Strain the cider mixture into a pitcher and stir in the bourbon. Refrigerate at least 2 hours.
- Pour the punch into tall glasses filled with ice. Garnish with orange slices.
